2004 Pinemiuta:

CASARA with GSAR (Ground Search and Rescue), RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted Police), Office fo the Fire Commissioner and the Rangers

In the summer of 2004, a complex simulated SAREX was held over the central Manitoba area of Pinemiuta with a combination of Ground Search teams and our air support. The taskings involved round-the-clock air search, including all-night target identification with little sleep. Daylight taskings involved joint helicopter FLIR (Forward Looking Infra-red) air searches.
