Hercules Interception

Often CASARA aircraft are called on duty to provide a simulation of a lost, stolen or simply errant aircraft. These missions involve role playing and provide a test platform for Captain Dave Helfenstein of 435 Squadron Winnipeg who exams and re-certifies Hercules pilots (2003). These missions are exciting and involve a high level of awareness by the examinee who must use quick, corrective tactics to guide the target aircraft to safety.
